Our meetings are at the Francis Domenigoni Community Center, 32665 Haddock St., Winchester, CA 92596. Additional information including a map will be found on our 'Meeting Information' page.
All meetings are open to the public. We generally have speakers representing Supervisor Washington's office, Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez' office, Senator Jeff Stone, Code Enforcement, the Sheriff's Department, EMWD and others addressing items of local and regional issues in attendance.
We also give continuing updates and information presented about several projects within the boundaries of our MAC area.

The mission of the Winchester-Homeland Municipal Advisory Council is to advise the county on matters including, but not limited to, public health, safety, welfare, public works and planning which affect Winchester, Homeland and surrounding areas and to assist with creative problem solving, with the goal of growing into a model city. The Advisory Council is composed of five members, currently, Andy Domenigoni, Dirk Meredith, James Horecka, Gary Long, Jim Sheldrakeand one vacant position. Upon the MAC's formation in 2010, Advisory Council Members were appointed by our then, third District Supervisor Jeff Stone and subsequent appointments by our current District Supervisor, Mr. Chuck Washington, all with the approval of the County of Riverside Board of Supervisors.
The unincorporated areas of Homeland, Green Acres and a portion of Romoland was officially included in the MAC boundaries in March, 2013 and the MAC renamed Winchester/Homeland Municipal Advisory Council. The boundaries cover a territory of more than 35 square miles, roughly the size of Temecula. It's boundary's lie to an area north of Highway 74; Briggs Road, or Menifee's city limits, on the west; Scott Road on the south; and California Avenue on the east. Winchester is one of Riverside County's oldest towns, one with a rich history punctuated by more-than-century-old structures such as a school, church and museum. It is a rural agricultural community with a town of about 2,000 residents. The addition of Homeland, Green Acres and portions of Romoland bring an additional 3000 residents within our Advisory Council boundaries. |
